Våtmark
Våtmark is a small green house for indoor use. Its developed by the design collective Nåme, (Matilda Karlsson, Louisa Juvall Molin, Felicia Litorell and Hannah Willén). The research project addresses the problem of peat in soil. It is packaged as a starter kit for cultivation and includes peat-free soil to educate and enlighten novice growers as they embark on their journey of cultivation.
Growing vegetables at home helps reduce emissions related to food waste, fertilizer and transportation. Peat-free soil helps preserve important ecosystem in the wetlands and reduce green house gas emission by storing the carbon in the ground.
Våtmark was developed in the fall of 2024.
